SHOW PEOPLE (u) The new season launches with a humorous and poignant look at Hollywood with this 1928 feature film starring Marion Davies & William Haines with cameo appearances from many of the great names of the silent screen - including Chaplin and Fairbanks. Made the year after the release of ‘The Jazz Singer’ it is a nostalgic farewell to silent films and is considered Davies’ finest screen role.
