FILM: Cinderella (PG)
In this enchanting silent film, magic and romance come to life through the story of Ella, a kind-hearted girl oppressed by her cruel stepmother and envious stepsisters. After her family denies her the chance to attend the grand royal ball, Ella's fortunes change when an ethereal fairy godmother appears, transforming her dreary existence with a touch of magic. Clad in a shimmering gown and glass slippers, Ella captures the heart of the prince in a night of divine dance and romance. But as midnight approaches, Ella must flee, leaving behind only a glass slipper as a clue for her besotted prince to find her. This silent adaptation of the classic fairy tale enchants with its timeless narrative and visual splendour, promising a magical cinematic experience that will captivates and delight audience members of all ages.
Performance runs from 2.30pm to 5pm.
