The Musical Museum is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Korg Gallery on 17th September! This is a brand-new exhibition dedicated to celebrating the evolution of modern music creation, and showcases the incredible history of Korg, one of the most influential names in music technology.

Visitors to the dedicated exhibition space will be able to explore an impressive collection of over fifty classic and contemporary instruments, and discover the history and technology behind their favourite musicians and music, as well as learning how electronic music continues to evolve today.

A highlight of the launch event will be the first UK appearance of the highly anticipated PS-3300 reissue, a recreation of one of the rarest and most coveted synthesizers ever made. Attendees will also get an exclusive look at the eagerly awaited microKORG 2, which adds powerful new features to this iconic and popular electronic instrument.

There will be live performances throughout the launch day, with Korg's Brand Ambassador (Luke Edwards) on hand to guide visitors through the history, providing demonstrations, answering questions, and helping explore the unique sounds and capabilities of each instrument.

Whether it’s the displays of the earliest mass-produced synthesizers, or the interactive area where visitors can go “hands on” to create their own sounds, the new gallery has something for visitors of all backgrounds, interests and ages to enjoy.

Admittance to the Korg Gallery and associated launch events on 17th September is free of charge, but places are limited and ticket holders will have priority, so please register to maximise your chance of entrance on the day!
